  • TVSFPE Scholarship Award Announcement

    The TVSFPE Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that the following individuals earned scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year:

    • Jessica Gallo, University of Maryland - Tom Christman Honorary Scholarship
    • Tobias Proulx, Oklahoma State University – Shay Massey Honorary Scholarship
    • Halena Shirran, Eastern Kentucky University - Tom Christman Honorary Scholarship
    • Leonardo Vargas, Eastern Kentucky University - Tom Christman Honorary Scholarship

    A total of $23,000 in scholarships were awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. Congratulations to all the students on their hard work!


  • Code Interpretation for Life Safety

    Our own Leonard Miller presented a few months back to the chapter on his self-published text for Code Interpretation for Life Safety. He has agreed to let us host a copy on our website. You can find it here if you wish to read it in greater detail.

    TVSFPE received the 2024 Silver Award for Chapter Excellence for our "oustanding contributions in meeting the needs of its members and the Society." Thank you to everyone for all the efforts that allowed us to earn this award.

  • Passing of Gaines Bruce

    Mr. Gaines Bruce passed away earlier in May.  He was a long time member of the chapter.  Apologies for the lateness of the notification, but we were just informed today.
